Today, we're excited to launch the [Dashboard](https://dashboard.alchemy.com) AI Assistant, available now to every team. Simply click “Ask Alchemy” in the Dashboard header and a panel opens next to whatever page you're on, using that page as context. Ask it a question in plain language, in whatever language you're already typing in, and it answers using your own account data, our docs, and our support content. It can also make changes for you, and it always shows you the exact change before anything goes live.

This is part of how we keep making Alchemy the fastest place to build: less time hunting through tabs, less time waiting on a support reply, more visibility into what your account is actually doing.

## Debug requests, check usage, and manage apps right in the dashboard

- **Debug failed requests.** Ask why requests to an app are failing and it reads your [request logs](https://www.alchemy.com/docs/alchemy-request-logs) and status counts, explains the cause, and tells you how to fix it. "Show me the 429 errors from the last hour" works just as well as "why is my production app failing."
- **Understand your usage.** Ask which methods are burning the most compute units this week, or how usage changed since yesterday, without digging through the Usage tab yourself.
- **Manage your setup.** It can create, rename, and delete apps, rotate API keys, turn networks on or off, edit allowlists, and create or update [webhooks](https://www.alchemy.com/docs/reference/webhooks-overview) and [alerts](https://www.alchemy.com/docs/dashboard-alerts).
- **Find answers in the docs.** It searches our documentation and support hub and links the pages it used, so you can go straight to the source.
- **Get unstuck.** When it can't solve something, it drafts a support ticket for you to review and send. (Note: Enterprise teams still have their dedicated support channels)

Every change needs your approval first. Before anything runs, the assistant shows you a card with exactly what's about to change, and you confirm or cancel it. Reads, like a log search or a usage report, don't need approval.

The assistant only sees what you can see: it's scoped to the team you have selected and respects your role permissions, and it can't see full API keys or webhook signing keys. It also doesn't touch billing, plan limits, or team management yet, and it won't delete your account or answer questions that have nothing to do with Alchemy.

## Get started

Open Ask Alchemy from the [Dashboard](https://dashboard.alchemy.com) header and ask it anything, from "where's my API key" to "set up a webhook for this app." Read more in [the docs](https://www.alchemy.com/docs/ai-assistant).

## FAQ

### Which languages can I use?

Any. Ask in whatever language you're already typing in.

### Is it available on every Dashboard page?

Yes. Ask Alchemy opens as a side panel on any page in the Dashboard and uses the page you're on as context.

### How long is my chat history saved?

Your recent conversations are saved in your browser for 7 days. Click the chat history icon in the panel header to pick up a previous conversation, or the new chat icon to start fresh.

### Are there usage limits?

Yes. Daily limits depend on your plan: a messages-per-day limit for each user, a tokens-per-day limit for the whole team, and a short per-minute limit. The assistant warns you at 75% and 90% of a daily limit, and daily limits reset at midnight UTC. For higher limits, upgrade your plan. See [the docs](https://www.alchemy.com/docs/ai-assistant) for details.

### What if the assistant can't solve my problem?

It drafts a support ticket for you to review and send from the chat. Enterprise teams use their own support channel instead of tickets.
