Attempts to submit a new block to the network. The block data must be hex-encoded.

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|------|------|----------|-------------|
| hexdata | string | Yes | The hex-encoded block data to submit. |
| dummy | string | No | Dummy value for compatibility with BIP22. This value is ignored.  |

## Result

**result** (null or string): Returns null when valid, or a string error message according to BIP22 otherwise.
