# eth_getBlockTransactionCountByHash

Returns the number of transactions in a block from a block matching the given block hash.

## Parameters

| Block hash | string | Yes | The hash of the block. |

## Result

**Transaction count** (null or string): The number of transactions in the block as a hexadecimal string.
