Citrea hopes to be Bitcoin's first zero-knowledge rollup. Currently in testnet, this network uses Bitcoin for both settlement and data availability, and its smart contracts help turn Bitcoin into a programmable asset, all without making any changes to the Bitcoin core protocol itself.
