Nikil Viswanathan

Co-Founder and CEO

Nikil Viswanathan is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Alchemy. Under his leadership, Alchemy has become the foundational crypto infrastructure for companies like JP Morgan, Robinhood, Visa, Stripe, Polymarket, and many others. Prior to founding Alchemy in 2017, Viswanathan worked on core products at Google, Microsoft, and Facebook. Viswanathan holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University, where his studies focused on distributed systems and computer networks—foundational knowledge that would later inform Alchemy’s technical architecture.

Joe Lau

Co-Founder and President

Joe Lau is the Co-Founder and President of Alchemy, the leading infrastructure platform for the onchain economy. Formerly Alchemy’s CTO, he helped build the infrastructure used by thousands of teams. He now focuses on accelerating fintech and financial services adoption of blockchain, working with global institutions on next-gen payment and settlement rails. Joe holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from Stanford.
