Arc is an open, EVM-compatible Layer-1 built for real-time money movement and agentic economic activity. It uses stablecoins as gas, starting with USDC, and targets deterministic sub-second finality with predictable, dollar-based fees. From launch, Arc carries live markets for lending, borrowing, trading, onchain FX, payments, and tokenized assets.
Arc also takes a unique approach to security with Arc's founding validators as regulated banks, payment networks, custodians, and financial infrastructure providers, including BlackRock, DTCC, Mastercard, Standard Chartered, and Visa. In practice, that means the same kinds of institutions moving money across Arc are also the ones confirming its transactions, spread across a geographically diverse set of operators.
