What is Sarcophagus?
Sarcophagus is a blockchain-enabled, general-purpose digital dead man's switch. It is autonomous, censorship-resistant, and immutable. The protocol relies on smart contracting networks as well as Arweave's permanent file storage network; files you place in a sarcophagus are only unlocked in the event of you failing to attest to the contract. Sarcophagus currently operates on Base. Example use cases include: (1.) Will and trust; (2.) Password Recovery; (3.) Credential Passdown; (4.) Political Activism/Whistleblowing; (5.) Password or Key Material Backup; and (6.) Emergency Communications.
