Web3 30 – Voting Terms
These terms apply to the individuals voting (“Voters”) on projects nominated for Alchemy’s Web3 30 Awards (the “Web3 30”), as well as the projects that have been nominated.
1. Votes may be cast starting on March 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM Pacific through March 19, 2023 at 9:00 PM Pacific (the “Voting Period”), by visiting https://www.alchemy.com/web3-awards (“Web3 30 Site”)
2. During the Voting Period, Voters can vote for the project of their choice in the categories specified (e.g. Dapps and dapp tooling, Gaming and social), subject to the following requirements and restrictions:
a. In order to submit a vote, the Voter must provide their full legal name and a valid e-mail address. Information collected via the Web3 30 Site will be used by Alchemy in accordance with its Privacy Policy and for the purposes of administering the Web3 30.
b. Voters may only vote one (1) time across all categories. Any attempt by any Voter to submit more than the permitted number of votes by using multiple identities or email addresses will void that Voter’s vote.
c. Projects and their owners or employees are prohibited from obtaining votes by any fraudulent or inappropriate means, including, but not limited to:
i. offering prizes or inducements to others in return for votes;
ii. paying a third party service to vote for or procure votes;
iii. collaborating with other individuals or groups to trade votes; or
iv. utilizing robotic, macro, automatic, programmed, or similar voting methods.
d. Alchemy reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to nullify any votes or disqualify any developer or project for any reason, including but not limited to failure to provide adequate or correct information, or violation of these terms.
The projects that receive the highest number of votes during the Voting Period will be acknowledged as one of the Web3 30 winners, and may receive any number of the prizes referred to on the Web3 30 Site, as determined by Alchemy in its sole discretion. Vote accrual will be tracked by Alchemy’s internal systems. Any and all Alchemy decisions regarding Web3 30 (e.g., calculation or computation of the results) are final.
The winning projects will be announced on or around March 27, 2023 on the Web3 30 Site, and winners will be contacted via email to claim their prize subject to applicable terms.
Alchemy reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, or suspend Web3 30 for any reason, including, but not limited to, in the event of fraud, technical or other issues, or if the integrity of the public voting or any other feature is compromised.
