BarnBridge is a risk tokenization DeFi protocol that allows users to make interest rate swaps.
What is BarnBridge?
Co-founded by Troy Murray and Tyler Ward in 2019, BarnBridge is an open-source Ethereum-based risk tokenization DeFi protocol. With BarnBridge anyone can hedge interest rate volatility in DeFi markets like Compound and Aave, by swapping variable yield for a fixed rate and then borrow against the latter. The protocol is governed through BarnBridge DAO, using its native ERC-20 token BOND. BarnBridge officially deployed version 2 of its protocol called BarnBridge v2 in September 2022.
