How Struct is building the data layer for onchain finance with Alchemy

For products that track live markets, slow data is unusable. Traders, agents, and analytics tools need a complete view of activity as it happens.

Struct builds the data infrastructure behind those products. Its specialized indexing pipelines turn onchain activity into the market data builders need across chains, venues, and instruments. As Struct adds networks, it needs node infrastructure that can keep pace so its engineers can stay focused on the data products customers use.

After evaluating several node providers, Struct chose Alchemy. The move gave Struct one infrastructure partner for its growing multi-chain footprint, hands-on support, and a simpler foundation for investing in its own low-latency data layer.

Building the Data Layer for Onchain Finance

Struct gives builders the backend for performance-sensitive financial products. Its customers include teams building terminals, launchpads, agents, and analytics dashboards. They need rich onchain data without having to run the indexing infrastructure themselves.

Struct handles the work behind the scenes: it collects raw blockchain activity, indexes it for the chains and venues customers need, and delivers it through APIs and streams. That lets customers focus on the product experience instead of maintaining a data pipeline.

For a trading interface, a market alert, or an agent, speed and coverage are part of the product. Struct is built to deliver the activity its customers need while it still matters.

The Challenge: Dependable Chain Access Sits Underneath the Product

Struct's data pipelines depend on real-time node streams. When the node layer slows down or becomes unavailable, Struct loses time and control over a dependency that sits underneath its product.

The team had used several node providers and had not experienced a major customer-facing outage. The issue was longer term. As Struct grew, it needed a partner that could meet its performance and uptime requirements, support new chains, and work closely with a team building a high-performance data platform.

Working across multiple providers also meant more integrations to manage. At Struct's scale, node costs could become material for a startup. The team wanted a simpler foundation without compromising on reliability.

One Partner for the Node Layer, More Focus on the Data Layer

Struct evaluated providers on performance, uptime, support, cost, and long-term alignment. It benchmarked its options and chose Alchemy.

Alchemy provides the node infrastructure that supplies Struct's data pipelines. Struct uses that foundation to index, enrich, and deliver data through the APIs and streams its customers rely on.

That is the lift. Instead of spending engineering time coordinating a fragmented provider stack, Struct has a responsive partner for the node layer. Its team can put more attention into the parts of the product customers see: data quality, speed, coverage, and delivery.

The relationship also supports Struct's next stage of growth. The team can add networks with one infrastructure partner rather than rebuild its node foundation for every chain. With Alchemy support close at hand, Struct can plan new network launches with more confidence.

"Partnering with Alchemy provides Struct with the stability our pipelines require. Pair that with hands on developer support allowing us to focus on serving our customers to the best of our abilities."

What Changed After Struct Chose Alchemy

A Simpler Foundation for Multi-Chain Growth

Before Alchemy, Struct worked across several node providers. Now it has one infrastructure partner it can take to new chains as its data platform expands. That means less coordination around the node layer and a consistent base for its indexing pipelines.

More Engineering Focus on Product Performance

Struct's value comes from what it builds above the node: specialized pipelines and useful data for onchain-finance products. Alchemy runs the node layer, so Struct can focus more of its effort on indexing, enrichment, coverage, and delivery.

Support for a Performance-Sensitive Product

Struct cited Alchemy's support as a key differentiator. When customers depend on real-time data, a responsive infrastructure team helps Struct address issues quickly and plan its expansion with more confidence.

Struct results with Alchemy: 0.5 second median feed lead versus Polymarket RTDS, and 1.9 billion trades tracked

The Performance Standard Struct Is Building Toward

Struct's public product metrics show why the node layer matters. In a benchmark of roughly 15,000 live Polymarket trades, Struct compared its Trades WebSocket with Polymarket's RTDS feed and matched each trade by transaction hash.

Struct reported that its confirmed feed arrived a median of about 0.5 seconds before RTDS. Its pending feed surfaced trades a median of 2.6 seconds earlier and matched 100% of RTDS trades in every measured window. The company also reports tracking more than 1.9 billion trades across its data platform.

These are Struct's product metrics, not a comparison of Alchemy with another node provider. They show the standard Struct is building toward: complete market data delivered quickly enough for builders and users to act on it. Alchemy provides the node infrastructure and support Struct needs to keep improving those systems.

Why Struct Chose Alchemy

  • Dependable chain access: Alchemy provides the low-latency node streams Struct needs to run its indexing pipelines.
  • One partner for growth: Struct can expand across chains with a consistent infrastructure relationship rather than a patchwork of providers.
  • More focus on the product: With Alchemy running the node layer, Struct can invest in its data infrastructure and developer experience.
  • Support that shows up: Struct cited Alchemy's engaged, responsive support as a key difference.

Build Products on Data That Can Keep Up

When a product depends on current onchain data, the node layer shapes what it can deliver. Alchemy gives data platforms reliable access to the chains they build on, so their teams can focus on the experience their customers see.
