Public mode handles standard cross-chain transfers between Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, and Base, while Railgun routes let users trade directly from shielded balances so counterparties cannot link sender and recipient. The router covers gas on the destination chain, so traders only need the source asset they want to swap.
