Kaia is an EVM-compatible layer-1 blockchain formed by the 2024 merger of Klaytn and Finschia. The network targets consumer apps with one-second block times, account abstraction, and gas fee delegation, and ships with native distribution through LINE and KakaoTalk messengers across Japan, Korea, Thailand, and Taiwan. KAIA is the staking and gas token.
