Morph is an Ethereum layer 2 designed for payments, formerly known as Morph L2. It uses a hybrid Optimistic zkEVM design that pairs optimistic execution with zk-proof verification, and exposes a programmable payment middleware for cross-border remittances, payroll, and merchant checkout. BGB is the gas, governance, and settlement token.
